YOUR FIRST VISIT

Almost everyone who walks in here for the first time is a little nervous, and almost nobody says so.

You might be wondering whether you’ll have to undress, or be touched, or talk about your feelings, or believe something you don’t. Whether you’ll be able to relax on command. Whether you’ll feel anything at all, and what it says about you if you don’t.

Those are all reasonable things to wonder. Here’s exactly what happens.

Before you come

Wear something comfortable that you can lie down in. Layers are good, because body temperature often drops during energy work.

Eat something beforehand, but nothing heavy. Come hydrated.

You don’t need to prepare anything, read anything, or arrive with your situation neatly summarized. Most people can’t explain what’s wrong, and that’s a completely normal place to start.

Arriving

I’m at 1390 W. 6th St., Ste. 128, Corona, CA 92882.

Parking is free and right outside. There are no steps, there’s a ramp to the entrance. Look for Suite 128.

Please come 10 to 15 minutes early. It makes a real difference to have a few minutes to sit down and stop moving before we begin.

We talk first

Every session starts with a private conversation. What brought you here, what you’re carrying, what you’re hoping for. If you have a health situation, this is where you tell me about it.

This isn’t an interview and there’s no right answer. Some people arrive with a lot to say. Some say almost nothing and we begin anyway.

The session itself

You stay fully clothed. Shoes off, that’s all.

You’ll lie on a padded table, on your back, with a blanket if you’d like one. I’ll ask about touch before we start. Some of my work involves light hands-on contact and some happens in the field just above the body. If you’d prefer no touch at all, say so and the session works perfectly well without it. You can change your mind partway through.

Then it’s quiet. I’ll be moving around the table, sometimes still, sometimes working over a particular area. You don’t have to do anything. You don’t have to clear your mind or breathe in any particular way.

People commonly feel warmth, tingling, heaviness lifting, or a wave of emotion with no obvious cause. Some fall asleep. Some feel very little during the session itself and notice a shift the following day.

All of that is normal. Feeling little is not a sign that it didn’t work, and it isn’t a sign that you’re doing it wrong.

Afterward

We come back together and I’ll tell you what I noticed.

Then, if you can, give yourself twenty unhurried minutes before you go back to your day. Drink more water than you think you need.

The day after is often when things surface. You might feel lighter, or unexpectedly tired, or emotional about something you weren’t expecting. That usually settles within a day or two. If something comes up that you’d like to talk through, you can always call me.

What this isn’t

This is not medical care, and it is not a replacement for it. If you’re under the care of a doctor or a therapist, please stay under it. My work sits alongside theirs.

You don’t need to hold any particular belief. I’ve worked with deeply spiritual people and with complete skeptics, and the work doesn’t seem to mind either way.

And you don’t need to know what you need. That part is my job.

Still unsure? Call me on (951) 347-6607 and ask me anything. I’d genuinely rather that than have you talk yourself out of it.
